Senior Business Intelligence Developer at TBC Corporation in Palm Beach Gardens, FL
The Senior Business Intelligence Developer will be responsible for development, design, analysis, testing, and support for the Business Intelligence and Analytical reporting processes, data, and systems Job Responsibilities Conduct and collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand the vision and purpose of the development and participate in meetings to define/support deliverables for project success. Work with BI team members to establish best patterns, practices, and standards as new technology arises. Collaborate with other technology departments to define development and production infrastructure needs and best practices. Work on multiple concurrent projects and participate in the entire software development lifecycle. Collaborate with other technology departments to define development and production infrastructure needs and best practices. Work on multiple concurrent projects and participate in the entire software development lifecycle. Define and capture metadata and rules ETL associated with ETL processes. Developing ETL packages using SSIS in a windows environment. Design and implement cost-effective, technically correct database solutions based on business specifications. Performance tuning and analysis including identifying and troubleshooting poorly performing queries and providing performance improvement recommendations. Qualifications Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field and 5 years of Business Intelligence full lifecycle technical development experience, focusing in ETL and data mapping/modeling, performance tuning on Teradata experience or SAP BW. Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following:
ETL, Enterprise Data Warehouses, backend and front-end design, realization, go live, post go live support; requirements gathering, validating, and translating business requirements into solutions using Teradata, Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS or SAP BW interfaces. Must have 5 of years of experience developing in one or more of these languages:
SQL, T-SQL, XML, OLAP, JSON, .Net (VB, C#, VBScript), SAP ABAP, shell scripting other scripting languages, internal components, apps servers and tuning techniques, or Web Services REST/SOAP. Must have 5 of years of experience assisting with business change activities including UAT design, planning, execution, and data provision. Must have legal authority to work in the U.S. EEOE.
