Systems Administrator II

The Systems Administrator III is responsible for maintaining the Windows environment of the Enterprise including, but not limited to all versions of Windows Server, Exchange Server, SQL Server, and Active Directory. This individual installs and configures new operating systems environments and implements systems upgrades and patches as required. The Systems Administrator - III participates in disaster recovery efforts and performs system backups and restores. This individual must be an expert in all aspects of managing server environments. Responsibilities:
Performs project coordination function for the evaluation, installation, monitoring, debugging, audits, and maintenance of server software on a variety of hardware platforms Plans, documents, and communicates all changes to server hardware and software Writes user documentation as appropriate Install, tests, implements, and documents server operation system upgrades and enhancements Prepares specification for server software and hardware systems that adhere to technical standards and ensures interoperability with other servers Responds to emergency calls relating to server performance, diagnosis of problems, resolving problems, or calling upon appropriate technicians Diagnoses server and operational problems and develops effective solutions Maintains data integrity and security of server software Monitors server software products and tracks server performance Responsible for quality reviews and standards Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments Participate in a 24/7 On-Call rotation Support TBC Code of Business Conduct Conduct other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferably in IT or a related area At least 8 years of experience in the IT field, with at least 4 to 6 years in systems administration (Windows Server, SQL Server, Exchange, Active Directory) Developing standards and documentation Experience with Active Directory and Exchange migrations/consolidations Exchange SQL IIS 6.0 and later Track record of successful accomplishments Continuous sitting, typing, writing, vision and hearing (or modified communication) Frequent walking and talking Occasional bending or stooping Must be able to lift up to 50lbs Work environment is office atmosphere, quiet conditions.
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
System & Network AdministrationEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
