Digital Commerce Developer II (Front End)
Description The Digital Commerce Developer II (Front-End) creates functional, standards-compliant websites and web applications. This individual focuses primarily on front-end development process of web applications using client-side technologies including standards-compliant HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS and JavaScript using React.js while being able to troubleshoot Node.js servers facilitating server side rendering and API proxies. The right candidate will perform traditional development tasks, participate in project planning, and protect corporate assets and intellectual property. An appreciation for collaboration across multiple teams in technology is a must. Job Responsibilities Works with development team, Information and User Experience Architects, Visual Designers, and product owners to create software solutions using agile methodologies Implement front-end and middle-layer enhancements to software solutions designed to increase conversions, improve performance, optimize enhancements for search engines, and drive consumer/customer loyalty Adheres to web development standards for the development team Implement best practices, patterns, and standards as new technology arises Actively adapt to changing technology needs and frameworks to best serve the technical and business needs of the organization Create accurate time estimates and development plans for upcoming projects Develop software unit tests based on business requirements with the guidance of senior developers Support the company's safety program Support the company's harassment-free work environment policy Support TBC Code of Business Conduct Performs other related duties as required Qualifications Bachelor or Associate's degree in computer or technical-related field with courses and training in web design, usability, and development or equivalent experience Proven experience participating in the development of software solutions At least 1-3 years of experience working with React Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS and React. AngularJS and Vue.js is a plus Working understanding of Node.js servers used for server side rendering and API proxies Strong understanding and 1-3 years of experience using NPM and Webpac Strong organizational skills and dedication to quality Excellent customer service abilities Must have excellent attention to detail Must be a self-starter and able to work independently on projects The ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities simultaneously Benefits Competitive compensation Tuition reimbursement 401k plan with a company match.
