This small Corporate Development Team, headed up by a seasoned investment banker and corporate development executive, is dedicated to supporting the Company's global vision, profitability, and growth objectives. The team will do this through leadership and execution of the acquisition, divestiture, joint venture processes, and portfolio development. The team is highly selective and has strong visibility with senior management. Joining this team can lead to a variety of development and professional growth opportunities within the organization including operations, finance, business development within other groups, and Chiefs of Staffs to divisional business unit executives. In addition, because the head of the group, who serves on the Executive Leadership Team, runs sustainability and strategy, they are opportunities to move into those areas posting being successful in this role. The Manager, Corporate Development will:
Lead the development, evaluation, and negotiation of acquisitions, joint ventures, and divestitures Participate as a member of a deal team. The deal teams are led by a senior member of the Corporate Development team and are responsible for all activity related to mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances, and joint ventures, including identification, screening, evaluation, deal structuring and negotiation, due diligence, closing, and integration of transactions Lead Corporate Development personnel and Business Unit leadership in all aspects of the transaction process Build complex financial models to support detailed valuation analysis Partner with other team members and external advisers including investment banking firms in the preparation and execution of large-scale transactions Prepare strategic rationale and financial valuation materials for discussion with senior leadership Assist in the coordination of transaction due diligence Lead analysis of merger and acquisition opportunities; provide in-depth qualitative and quantitative analysis, including assessment of industry competitors and benchmarking Lead other internal projects for Corporate Development Education &
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Finance or other business-related concentration MBA preferred 5 to 7 years of experience in investment banking, M&A, private equity, or financial due diligence experience Knowledge & Skills:
Motivation to work on transformative M&A deals Superb attention to detail Strong understanding of corporate finance and accounting Excellent command of PowerPoint and Excel Effective communication, planning, and organizational skills Personal humility, recognizing one's success is tied to the success of the team and the company Strong work ethic with a commitment to personal growth Excellent analytical skills, including an understanding of financial valuation fundamentals
Salary Range:
$140K -- $160K
$20K bonus
Minimum Qualification
InvestmentsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
