The Florida Legislature The Florida House of Representatives Job Title Legislative Aide (District 88) General Summary State Representative Jervonte Edmonds is now accepting applications in his West Palm Beach, Florida office to assist with a variety of administrative and public relations matters requiring a thorough understanding of the policies, procedures, and operating practices of the Florida Legislature.
Examples of Work Performed Calendar and Scheduling Constituent Management Legislative Process Public Relations and Press Releases Stakeholder Relations Designated Tallahassee Travel Staff during Committee Weeks and Session Essential Duties/Responsibilities Knowledge and application of House Rules, Protocol, House-specific Applications, House Administrative Policies and the Legislature's Joint Policies and Procedures.
Calendar and Scheduling Constituent Management Legislative Research Legislative Process Public Relations and Press Releases Stakeholder Relations Designated Tallahassee Staff during Committee Weeks and Session and Travel System Mandatory Trainings as Assigned Minimum Qualifications An Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university and two years of administrative experience.
Professional administrative experience can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.
Salary Annual salary $38,328 Excellent employee benefits.
This position is not eligible for remote work.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
