This position works in West Palm Beach as a Distributed Computer Systems Analyst Minimum Requirements A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and two years of experience in computer systems analysis, computer programming or in planning or designing distributed computer systems; or a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course of study in one of the computer sciences or in management information systems and one year experience in computer systems analysis, computer programming or in planning or designing distributed computer systems; or a master's degree from an accredited college or university with major course of study in one of the computer sciences or in management information systems; or three years of experience as described above and either (1) completion of a 720 classroom hour program of study from a vocational/technical school or accredited community college in an area of data processing (excluding data entry), or (2) 60 semester or 90 quarter hours of college course work from an accredited institution which includes four courses in computer science or management information systems.
Experience as described above can be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.
Completion of a one-year program of study from a vocational/technical school in an area of data processing (excluding data entry) can substitute for one year of the required experience.

Attendance is an essential function of this position.
This is technical and administrative work supporting a statewide distributed computer systems network for use by end-users including hardware, software, and telecommunication components of distributed systems.
The employee supports multiple office sites, which may require extensive travel.
Operations Assists in writing and maintaining up-to-date technical documentation and operating procedures for supported offices, networks, hardware, software, and applications.
Maintains current knowledge of telecommunications systems (hardware and software).
Follows the standard implementation of policies, procedures, best practices, and systems operations.
Performs infrastructure related tasks, such as Active Directory users and computers.
Maintains technology equipment inventory.
Work Assignments Assists with computer and network support for the Division's offices located throughout the state to include but not limited to, office relocations/closures, circuit installations/deletes, router installations/removals, switch configurations and deployments, electrical requirements, and network cabling.
Performs computer Imaging, configuration, setup, and relocation.
Acts as Group Administrator for certain aspects of Hosted VoIP Service for area offices.
Technical Assistance Troubleshoots Local Area Networks (LAN), Personal Computers (PC) and the Division's systems/applications issues.
Handles incidents and service requests accurately and in a timely manner.
Training Ensures IT Training for New Employees is provided in a timely manner and delivered following training guidelines.
Delivers other relevant IT training as necessary.
Assists with developing IT training materials for the Division.
