This individual will also provide quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care environment which promotes their rights, dignity, freedom of choice, and their individuality under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
RESPONSIBILITIES of the Labor Coordinator include, but are not limited to:
Establish staffing patterns and schedules for nurses and nursing assistants Maintains records on vacations, sick leave, leaves of absence, holidays, excused and unexcused absences, and recommends appropriate action Works with Human Resources to advise them of staffing needs, terminations, and other information necessary for the smooth flow of work regarding employees Works with human resources to advise of staffing needs, terminations and other information necessary for the smooth flow of work regarding employees Assists in securing staff for absences, leaves, etc.
, adjusting schedules as required Assists in the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) process May be called upon to assist residents in ADL's or other needs as required by the DON, ADON or Supervisor Assists in administering the uniform policy for the facility QUALIFICATIONS for the position of Labor Coordinator:
EDUCATION /
Experience:
Must hold current Nursing Assistant Certifications in the state in which they are practicing/ current Florida CNA Clinical License Must be knowledgeable of resident rights and ensures an atmosphere which allows for the privacy, dignity and well-being of all residents in a safe, secure environment.
Current CPR Certification Must be strong in Excel and Word Scheduling program experience preferred Must possess sensitivity in understanding employees' needs while maintaining a sense of balance to ensure that staffing requirements are met for the facility Wellington Health & Rehab is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
