How you make a difference:
The Security Guard works under the general supervision of the Security Manager and is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the hospital premises.
This role also involves serving as the primary point of contact for all individuals entering or contacting the hospital.
The Security Guard is responsible for responding to emergencies, enforcing hospital security protocols, and monitoring surveillance systems.
Key
Responsibilities:
Responds to requests and emergency calls for assistance, and conducts periodic inspection tours of the hospital grounds.
Monitors the CCTV security system and patrols hospital grounds to detect unauthorized persons or vehicles.
Registers and logs visitors, wands persons entering the hospital, and provides escorts to law enforcement agencies, incoming admissions, discharging patients, and visitors as required.
Participates in fire drills, crisis prevention intervention training, and court appearances as needed to provide testimony.
Completes incident reports, maintains logs, secures patients' property, and performs other duties as assigned by the Manager of Security.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience Two (2) years of related work experience preferred.
Required to hold (or be eligible for) either a valid State of Florida D Security License or a valid State of Florida G Security License.
Experience in arrest, search and seizure preferred.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
