How you make a difference:
The Driver and Warehouse Clerk is responsible for inventory management and stocking duties, ensuring the facility has an adequate supply of materials.
They also oversee the cleanliness and sanitation of the laundry work area while handling linen pickup, delivery, and cleaning tasks.
Additionally, they play a crucial role in transporting patients, hospital equipment, supplies, and patient-related items in a safe and timely manner, enabling medical staff to carry out their duties effectively, and they handle all transportation and delivery functions associated with the warehouse, central supply, laundry areas, and purchasing operations.
Key
Responsibilities:
Verify patient identification, communicate arrivals and departures, and ensure patient safety during transportation.
Maintain vehicles and equipment, perform necessary maintenance services, and report mechanical problems promptly.
Inventory and restock medical and office supplies, distribute deliveries, and assist with stock inventories.
Manage linen and laundry shipments, maintain accurate inventory reporting, and act as a resource for supply distribution.
Provide cross-training support, serve as a backup in the Business Office, and perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience Minimum two (2) years of experience in warehouse and/or stockroom receiving, and distribution systems required.
