Summary:
This position will be primarily be responsible assisting in the store's service department by performing general automotive maintenance through company provided tools.
Will demonstrate safe and proper application of all tools and equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES &
Responsibilities:
Take orders from managers for various tasks within service and showroom departments.
Clean job areas of debris and ensure that they are restored to their original states Perform warehouse duties such as unloading shipment, adding to inventory, placing in appropriate warehouse location.
Provides excellent customer service and assist salespersons with carry outs Clean and maintain floor surfaces, ceilings, and windows.
Empty trash receptacles and ensure appropriate disposing of trash.
Clean restrooms and replenish supplies.
Assist stock personnel in handling inventory duties along with providing support in receiving, verifying, and storing product.
Performs other duties, as assigned SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
In-depth knowledge (solid knowledge of installing and maintaining) of using company provided standard hand, power tools and Hunter tire machine.
Strong ability to follow oral and written instructions properly Knowledge and ability to avoid precautions necessary for ensuring a safe work environment for self and coworkers Physical agility aimed at performing difficult manual labor Deep knowledge of basic preventative and general automotive maintenance activities Consumer sales and/or Warehouse experience in a retail environment Automotive Experience preferred but not required Knowledge of 4-Wheel/Off Road Product is a must Possesses a valid California Driver's License May have some local travel.
High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
