6K a year 6 days ago 6 days ago 6 days ago SUMMARY The Development Associate is responsible for managing the Foundation's annual giving program, other fundraising campaigns, and special events.
This position will work closely with the Senior Vice President of Foundation and other staff members to develop and implement strategies to generate sustainable funding streams for the organization.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS Oversee and expand MorseLife's Annual Giving Society Identify prospects for major and legacy giving.
Execute and further develop MorseLife's Grateful Patient Program Plans, organizes, implements, and evaluates parlor meetings and other outreach events.
Provide regular reports to the Senior Vice President of Foundation on fundraising progress, trends, and strategies.
Work with the Senior Vice President of Foundation to develop and implement strategies for donor engagement, stewardship, retention, and growth.
Participate in community events and represent the organization to donors, volunteers, and other stakeholders.
Craft compelling appeals for mail and digital platforms and synthesize appeal results.
Create donor-centered content for newsletters, the website, and impact reports.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES No Supervision responsibilities QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE) Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
At least 3 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising is required.
Experience effectively managing and organizing complex projects and deadlines with strong attention to detail and accuracy; ability to present ideas and solutions for meeting goals and overcoming challenges.
Proven track record of securing philanthropic support from individual donors, corporate partners, and foundations.
Excellent communication skills, including strong writing skills and the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences.
Must demonstrate a high level of initiative and ability to work independently with a thoughtful approach to problem-solving.
