Surgical Technician Labor and Delivery Per Diem Days
SummarySurgical Technician assists with the nursing care of the patients in the Special Deliveries area by performing routine and delegated duties according to policy and procedures under the supervision of a registered nurse at all times.
Serves as a Serves as a surgical tech for obstetrical procedures in the OB area.
Other duties include stocking, and secretarial duties as assigned.
Assists with housekeeping functions to maintain cleanliness in the OR.
Demonstrates the ability to interpret information to identify the patient's age specific needs and provides appropriate care for the age group in question.
Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Qualifications EducationRequired:
Graduate of Surgical Technician Program as required by state regulation of practice or policy.
ExperiencePreferred:
1 year experience as surgical technician CertificationsRequired:
BLS.
Preferred:
Surgical Technology Certification#LI-YQ1Tenet complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce.
