The practice will focus on both cosmetic and insurance-based surgeries, with a specialized focus on facial plastics.
The practice looks forward to creating a one-of-a-kind patient experience and we are looking for a hands-on motivated individual who wants to grow along with the practice as it opens and gets established.
BASIC FUNCTION:
As the Patient Care Coordinator, you are in charge of the patient experience and enforcing the daily practice operations.
You must possess strong relationship building and management skills, enjoy delivering excellent customer service and have a serious interest in growing a new surgery practice.
Candidate must be self-driven, organized, and possess excellent communication skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Administrative support functions such as answering phone, scheduling appointments, greeting patients Qualify all leads through in-depth information exchange and when appropriate schedule in office consultations, ultimately converting consults to surgery Track all leads in a professional reportable fashion Work closely with the doctor and staff to provide excellent customer service for patients during the in-office consultation Prepare and discuss quotes/financial responsibility for all surgeries Work with hospital and surgery center to schedule patients for surgery and provide all pre-surgery necessary information Responsible for ensuring proper follow-through on financial arrangements for patients:
cosmetic and insurance Handle patient payments for cosmetic and insurance patients Coordinate with third party biller and pre-auth team Lead initiative on development and implementation of photo books, marketing materials, and patient satisfaction surveys with physician approval Develops programs and initiatives that enhance cosmetic patient revenue; oversees implementation and maintenance Checks to ensure that daily close batches are accurate; prepares daily bank deposit Generate, edit, publish and share physician approved content on social media Check and reply to questions on social media with pre-approved responses Non-clinical inventory ordering and receiving Learn reporting capabilities and operational functions of the information system and pull daily and monthly report as needed Develop and document processes and procedures to be used as training material as the practice grows Grow to have detailed knowledge about the market; demographics, payor mix, consolidation, integration, etc.
Working knowledge of standard accounting principles and budget development Recommends hiring of Front Office personnel as needed based on patient volume Works on the appearance of the practice and coordinates with the building management as needed Consistent and reliable attendance Access to PHI is limited to the minimum necessary information to accomplish the intended purpose of a particular use, disclosure, or request by Physician or Patient Other duties as assigned Job Type:
