The Resource Center Warehouse Assistant will work with the public, volunteers, donors and appropriate Tree of Life Resource Center staff to help those in need and increase awareness of the Tree of Life Resource Center.
This position reports to the Resource Center Coordinator.
Demonstrate high energy level and flexibility, pleasant persona coupled with sound judgement; flexible, discreet and able to maintain confidential information, knowledge of correct protocol for specific situations.
The ability to work well independently, and possess excellent communication, organizational and creative thinking skills.
Willingness to cross-train with other staff responsibilities to ensure a smooth overall operation.
KEY
Responsibilities:
Build/Continue relationships with the public, partner organizations and donors Coordination of logistics and inventory of the Tree of Life Resource Center Maintain inventory database Work closely with the Resource Center Coordinator and Associate Motivated to make a positive impact on the community Comfortable taking phone calls and making appointments Coordinate volunteers Perform other appropriate duties as necessary REQUIREMENTS:
Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills with all levels of staff, volunteers, donors, and general public.
Ability to handle diverse workload with a degree of flexibility Detail oriented, well spoken Forklift operator experience a plus Bilingual in Spanish and/or Creole preferred Must be able to lift 50
lbs EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
Candidate must be proficient in coordination of logistics.
