The Maintenance Specialist is responsible for assisting the Facilities Department and Factory in the maintenance, safety and security of all City Mattress properties.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Conduct general maintenance as requested by the Facilities Department including handyman work such as ceiling tile replacement, minor plumbing, painting, repairs, etc.
Responsible for processing and completing work orders from the work order ticketing system (Limble) Routinely inspect facilities to identify and resolve issues; maintain scheduled and preventative maintenance programs and perform scheduled upkeep such as window cleaning, carpet cleaning and pest control Frequent walk-through of facilities to address repairs with minimal delay Perform troubleshooting regarding mechanical and equipment problems.
Able to regularly travel to different stores and locations within a designated area/territory (company will provide maintenance van for use) Accurately maintain tools and inventory on the designated van and storage areas Work unsupervised when needed to ensure that the task requested is completed to company standards.
Occasional travel to South West Florida locations to assist when necessary Maintains a safe work environment and uses appropriate protective equipment/PPE Any other duties as assigned.

For this position, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk and use hands.
The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, climb and balance and stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10lbs and occasionally lift and/or move 50lbs+.
Must have a High School Diploma or GED Requires a minimum of 5 years previous experience as a maintenance technician or specialist Excellent verbal and written communication skills Valid driver's license Must be able to travel as required.
Ability to take direction and provide input to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Must be in very good physical condition and able to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds Basic computer knowledge; Must be able to work with Limble work order system.
Enter and receive work orders, preventive maintenance tasks and asset management and tagging.
Must be detailed oriented, able to prioritize and organize work to meet deadlines.
Must be a team player.
Must be able to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks at once.
