Job Description:
We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented dispatcher/router to join our growing team.
The ideal candidate will have a knack for optimizing routes, ensuring timely arrivals , and providing exceptional support to our team and customers.
Key
Responsibilities:
Schedule and dispatch drivers, work crews, equipment, or service vehicles to appropriate locations.
Optimize routes to ensure efficient and timely pick ups and drop offs.
Monitor and manage driver progress and handle any routing issues or changes as they arise.
Communicate effectively with drivers and customers to provide delivery updates and resolve any issues.
Maintain records, logs, and schedules of the calls and routes dispatched.
Qualifications:
Previous dispatching/routing experience preferred but not essential.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with route optimization software is a plus.
