Carwash Technician Specialist Summary As a Carwash Technician Specialist, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of carwash equipment and systems.
You will ensure the smooth operation of machinery and provide technical support to the carwash team.

Responsibilities:
Equipment Maintenance:
Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on carwash equipment, including conveyor systems, brushes, dryers, pumps, and electrical components.
Ensure equipment is operating efficiently, troubleshoot any issues, and promptly address repairs to minimize downtime.
Troubleshooting and Repairs:
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic problems with carwash equipment.
Identify issues, develop effective solutions, and carry out necessary repairs or replacements.
Collaborate with the team to resolve complex technical problems.
Preventive Maintenance:
Conduct preventive maintenance of carwash equipment to maximize uptime and extend the lifespan of machinery.
Conduct scheduled inspections, lubrication, adjustments, and part replacements as needed.
Keep detailed records of maintenance activities.
Calibration and Testing:
Calibrate and test carwash equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety and quality standards.
Verify the accuracy of sensors, timers, water pressure, chemical dispensers, and other components.
Make adjustments or replacements as required.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of spare parts.
Generate reports on equipment performance, maintenance schedules, and any identified issues.
Communicate findings and recommendations to management.
Training and Support:
Provide technical guidance and support to carwash team members, including training on equipment operation, troubleshooting techniques, and best practices.
Assist in developing standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to safety guidelines and ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment, utilizing proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
Inventory Management:
Monitor and maintain an inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies necessary for equipment repairs and maintenance.
Coordinate with suppliers to order parts and track inventory levels.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience as a Carwash Technician or similar role, with expertise in maintaining and repairing carwash equipment.
Car wash-specific technician preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Familiarity with carwash-specific equipment, such as conveyors, brushes, pumps, blowers, and control systems.
Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues.
Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, technical drawings, and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and provide technical guidance.
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of safety regulations and adherence to proper safety practices.
Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual tasks.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
