Years experience required as a Service Advisor with a high line automotive brand, preferably BMW.
Major
Responsibilities:
Promote the sales of parts and labor Identify and understand the customer's service needs Understand the product and service lines Document the service needs and repair information and vehicle condition upon arrival by completing walk around inspection in the service drive.
Ensure the repair order is accurate and complete Inspect the vehicle to make sure it is ready for return to the customer Ensure warranty repairs and approve adjustments within standard warranty periods Coordinate with team leader and technician by going to the shop on a frequent basis to determine date of delivery when work is completed.
Advise customer of early or late delivery, or of additional repairs.
Maintain customer follow-up system according to guidelines Ensure service level provided to the customer is worthy of achieving CSI scores of 96.
1 or better Opening and closing car doors (between 10-15 pounds) Lifting and closing Hoods ((between 10-15 pounds) Abilities required:
Ability to stand for extended periods of time working on computer screen and greeting customers and visiting foremen and technicians in the shop.
Mechanical aptitude to understand customer's service needs Good communication skills with customers in person, on the telephone and via email.
Ability to get in and out of vehicles Ability to safely and legally operate a vehicle on public thoroughfare Tasks:
Properly perform diagnosis, whether maintenance or repairs, for customer Verify all authorized work completed and quality check Receive accurate estimate and parts availability from technician Maintain a clean driving record and valid driver's license Keep informed and current with all service-related factory communications Job Type:
