Summary:
The Warehouse Clerk position assists the warehouse manager in any administrative functions that pertain to the warehouse operation.
Essential Functions:
Answers phones and makes delivery appointments.
Communicates with the drivers delivering products and assists when needed to relay information from the routes/customers to the receiving department.
Calls in com checks for lumper services or temporary storage.
Receives all P.
O.
's into the system.
Enters receiving receipts for all products coming in for Tropical Shipping and PPB Cold Storage.
Coordinates with Tropical Shipping on products to be shipped and container sizes.
Signs in and out trailers as they come in.
Verifies the clear-to-load list for orders.
Create orders for Tropical Shipping and PPB Cold.
Audits and verifies accurate product selection and or product substitution for 100% customer satisfaction on the selection of orders.
Verifies orders and bills of lading for all bonded products shipped weekly.
Assists warehouse staff with information regarding product availability.
Assists in the productivity and timeliness of containers being picked, checked, released, and gated.
Cross-trained for the warehouse lead and for billing.
Maintains service logs for warehouse equipment (forklifts, etc.
) Orders all supplies for the warehouse.
Enters all locations for the product into the system.
Required Education and
Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Training or experience in computer applications.
Physical Requirements:
Able to work in an office environment and lift up to 25 pounds.
Other Duties This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Sunday through Thursday, 2:
00pm to 11:
