Duties and responsibilities Project create, manage, and achieve required timelines for new product introductions and other supply chain required projects.
o Understand requirements and develop well thought out project schedules, anticipate problems.
o Keep projects moving and proactively resolve issues that cause delays.
o Closely coordinate and communicate with external partners and vendors to obtain the latest status on projects and action plans.
Introduce new metrics and report on existing KPIs that highlight opportunities for improvements to project performance.
Connects all the different parts of the organization to ensure all are on the same page.
Meet with the team and ensure that each member is given an opportunity to make suggestions regarding the execution of the project.
Suggest strategies for achieving the project goals to the leadership team.
Supports and manages special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications The ideal candidate must be a strong communicator and an effective collaborator with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and stakeholders, both internally and externally.
Demonstrated proficiency in project management and execution.
Expert capability with Supply Chain software packages as well as Windows, and Microsoft Office Excel.
Strong knowledge of SAP or other software related to demand planning is preferred.
This position requires strong analytical, organizational, decision making, and presentation skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also essential to effectively interact with all teams, areas and levels of business.
Good facilitation skills are required.
Some specific capabilities include the following:
Bachelor's degree in project management or a relevant degree from a four-year college or university is preferred.
Knowledge of project management areas especially as they relate to skin care manufacturing, supply chain activities, and new product introduction requirements.
Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-based recommendations that optimize processes.
Demonstrated willingness to learn and work hard.
Strong attention to detail and knows how to apply common sense to tasks and verification of output.
Expert Microsoft Office skills Proficiency in SAP B1 (or a similar ERP system) preferred.
Good communication:
written and spoken skills along with the ability to persuade and negotiate.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to recognize potential problems and solve them as they arise.
Excellent presentation skills.
Ability to self-manage and motivate, to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects at the same time.
Ability to be flexible and adaptable.
A willingness to work occasional late hours, during weekends, or at home as projects reach a critical stage.
Risk management experience in project management Proficiency in analyzing and solving problems related to projects.
Outstanding human relation skills.
Excellence in gathering help needed in developing a working project plan.
Familiarity with tools and metrics needed to evaluate project performance.
The Supply Chain Project Manager will be an individual contributor with strong team-leading capabilities.
Working conditions This is a full-time exempt status position.
The hours of operation are from 9 a.
m.
until 6 p.
m.
Monday through Friday.
This schedule may change according to business operation.
Physical requirements The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crawl or crouch.
Vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
The ability to lift up to 50 pounds is needed for this position.
