Job Description As a Grand Opening Project Coordinator, you will play a key role in overseeing franchise owners' grand openings from concept to completion.
Provides support to franchisees, corporate staff, and vendors throughout the grand opening process.
Specific duties for this project management role include:
Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables.
Establish and improve upon the existing Grand Opening process including but limited to the creation of a timeline, checklist, vendors, run of show, marketing materials, etc.
Provides support to the franchisees by managing the timeline of their grand opening.
Communicate regularly with marketing vendors to ensure they're following the timeline.
Acts as the single point of contact between the franchisees and the corporate staff through the grand opening process of new and resale locations for all brands.
Ensure all disciplines of the grand opening are defined, scheduled, held to the timeline, completed, and communicated to the franchisees and corporate staff.
Communicate via telephone and/or email with each franchisee for updates on the status of their grand opening timeline.
Daily internal and external communications may be required as needed as the project is coordinated and tracked to a timeline.
Define the project management tracking procedures to provide real time status updates.
Produce an individual file system to allow for all status, communications, forms, dates and updates to ensure the grand opening is on time and a plan if the plan slips to ensure on time completion and success.

) or equivalent from four-year college or university; or at least three years related industry experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.

Have excellent time management skills.
Be highly organized and detail oriented.
Must have good listening skills.
Be able to prioritize and capability to change priorities as needed.
Have a pleasant, positive, and supportive presence to the franchisees and corporate staff.

Be able to work with minimal supervision to accomplish all day-to-day tasks and unexpected situations that may occur.
Be open and adapt to constant changes.
Ability to engage and hold staff or sub-contractors responsible and to their tasks.
Ability to respectfully hold the franchisees accountable to complete their required tasks to meet the expected and committed timelines for a successful grand opening.
Must blend the ability to be focused and determined with internal staff to challenge them for completion as you coordinate the successful timelines on each discipline while maintaining a solid respect and working relationship.
Program or project management experience is a requirement.
Franchise experience in grand openings is a positive.
A never-ending positive attitude and commitment to customer service is required with 3 years of customer service experience or interaction.
Coordinator or manager experience is a positive.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
