Your
Responsibilities:
Assistsin vacation, sick time, leave of absence, and last-minute shiftassistancecoverage.
Assigned to a specific region.
Adheres to company policy in all assigned Properties.
Needs to have reliable forms of transportation and mobile communication.
While ondutymust be in Company approved attire and/or uniform, and follow the Company dress code and policy, and have identification badges always displayed.
When on assignment, keeps work area clean.
All safety procedures must always be adhered to.
Any safety issues must be brought to the attention of the Property Managerimmediately.
Responsible for checking the Fire Alarm panel to ensure that it is in normal Status.
Reports any indicated troubles in writing to the Property Managerimmediately.
Follow property specific procedures for handling emergency situations (e.
g.
, Evacuations, medical emergencies, and natural disasters) Maintains awareness of undesirable persons on property premises.
Patrol property asrequiredand report all issues of concern.
Utilize radio communications IAW property guideline.
Prepare and review written documents.
(e.
g.
, daily logs, inspections, reports) Exchange information with other employees using two-way radio or control base radio.
Responds to emergency situations ina timelyand efficient manner.
Reports all complaints/issues to The Director of Operations.
On call24/7 for emergencies and call outs assigned by Director of Security.
Including, but not limited to weekends and Holidays.
May be assigned other duties, responsibilities asrequired.
Skills &
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalency required.
Valid Florida Security License D Two (2) to three (3) years of hospitality security experience is preferred.
Proficiencyand working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications preferred.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Multiple language fluency is desirable.
Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skillsrequired.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 30 - 50 lbs.
Work in an upright standing or sitting position forlong periodsof time.
Handle, finger, grasp and lift objects and packages.
Reach with hands and arms.
Communicate, receive, and exchange ideas and informationby means ofthe spoken and written word.
Ability to navigate the property/building quickly and easily asrequiredto meet the job functions.
Complete all required forms.
Possess knowledge of multi-building operations.
Ability to work extended hours and weekends based on project requirements.
Driving isrequired.
