Kforce has a client that is seeking a Help Desk Specialist in West Palm Beach, FL.
Responsibilities:
  • Help Desk Specialist will provide first level assistance to clients

  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email

  • Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions

  • Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers

  • Walk the customer through the problem-solving process

  • Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel

  • Provide accurate information on IT products or services

  • Record events and problems and their resolution in logs

  • As a Help Desk Specialist, you will follow-up and update customer status and information

  • Pass on any feedback or suggestions by customers to the appropriate internal team

  • Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures

  • May be asked to run data reports from our AS400/UNIX environment

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
