Ensure functions are appropriately posted in necessary areas.
Supervise the handling, storage, and security of catering services equipment.
Supervise proper set-up for on-site events.
Supervise clearing and post-function clean-up.
Maintain constant contact with chefs.
Ensure the banquet checklist is completed, and appropriate information is communicated to the night auditor.

Oversee the staff with the help of the department leader on a daily basis.
Assist in the training of banquet servers and bartenders.
Respond to guest complaints and special requests.
