( Must be licensed in Florida and have 3+yrs of experience in Skilled setting) We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Home Administrator to oversee the operations and management of our nursing home facility.
As a Nursing Home Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of care and services for our residents.
This is a full-time position.
Duties:
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations - Manage the day-to-day operations of the nursing home facility - Supervise and provide guidance to staff members, including nurses, caregivers, and support staff - Coordinate care plans for residents, ensuring individualized and comprehensive care - Oversee medication administration and ensure proper documentation - Maintain accurate resident records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide specialized care, such as dementia care or assisted living services - Monitor the quality of care provided and implement improvements as needed - Handle any issues or concerns raised by residents or their families in a timely and compassionate manner
Experience:
- Proven experience working in a managerial role in a healthcare setting, preferably with experience in senior care or nursing homes - Strong knowledge of operations management in a healthcare environment - Familiarity with regulations and compliance requirements for nursing homes - Experience in developing and implementing care plans for individuals with diverse needs - Knowledge of medication administration protocols and documentation requirements - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with residents, families, staff, and healthcare professionals - Ability to supervise and motivate a team of healthcare professionals We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
