Legal Assistant

LHH is seeking a litigation legal assistant experience interested in a full-time, permanent job opportunity with a well-respected, firm in West Palm Beach, FL? You will be responsible for drafting, formatting, and proofreading correspondence and legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, etc.; maintaining department records, both physically and electronically; calendaring; coordinating court dates and appearances; scheduling meetings with witnesses and other involved parties; legal research; and other tasks as assigned.



Qualifications:


  • 4
    years of solid litigation experience, including solid understanding of local court rules and procedures

  • Strong computer proficiency, especially with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)

  • Solid organizational and multi-tasking skills with high attention to detail

  • Great communication and interpersonal skills with a helpful, no-job-too-small mindset


Salary:
$70,000/yr.-$72,000/yr.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
