Summary


Professional Registered Nurse / RN gives direct and indirect specialized nursing care to patients after receiving anesthetic agents. The Registered Nurse / RNin the post anesthesia role coordinates the care of the patient, is the patient advocate throughout the post operative experience.


Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned to Registered Nurse / RN


Qualifications

Education


Required:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Preferred:
Academic degree in nursing (Bachelors or Masters degree)


Certifications


Required:


  • Must be currently licensed Registered Nurse / RN, certified or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy.
  • Basic Life Support
  • ACLS
  • PALS (preferred/ to be obtained with in 1 year)

Experience:
Minimum 1 yr as PACU Registered Nurse / RN with ICU/ ER experience.
