Position: PSYCHOLOGIST
Salary: $86,496 Annually
Department: Youth Services/Residential Treatment and Family Counseling
Location: 100 Australian Avenue, WPB
Hours: 8:30 A.M. to 7:00 P.M., Monday - Thursday
Other: Must pass a Level 2 background check prior to appointment.
THIS IS AN AT-WILL POSITION.
Provides complex psychological services in an outpatient setting certified in providing trauma-informed care. Supervises psychology doctoral and postdoctoral trainees in their provision of family therapy, individual therapy, and assessment of children and adolescents along with participation in all training-related activities. Develops and presents professional trainings and community outreach on topics on youth and family psychology, equity and diversity, and other mental health-related topics. Provides clinical services in person and via telehealth to a diverse clientele in terms of gender, age, race, ethnicity, and socioeconomic status. Treatment activities focus on family, systemic, behavioral, and trauma-focused evidence-based interventions for youth and their families presenting with a diverse set of clinical issues. Conducts intake assessments and risk assessments; provides parent education; conducts psychological evaluations and writes integrated reports; provides case management and consultation services; participates in program evaluation and professional research; travels among various Youth Services Department (YSD) offices and community locations. Opportunity to become certified to provide Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) is provided. Youth Services Department seeks to recruit diverse staff. Qualifications:
Doctorate Degree in Psychology.
_ Necessary Special Requirement: Must be a State of Florida Licensed Psychologist at time of hire. _
_ PREFERENCE FOR: _ Three (3) years of experience providing individual/family/group counseling and/or psychotherapy with children/adolescents; one (1) year of experience providing clinical supervision to doctoral trainees; experience implementing and teaching trauma-informed care practices; public speaking experience; bilingual (English/Spanish/Creole).

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
