A leading provider of wear and corrosion resistant coatings is looking for an executive-level Technical Sales Director. The person selected for this position will be based at the headquarters near West Palm Beach, FL and will lead a small (2-3 people) sales force. He or she will work closely with existing and potential clients in the oil and gas, tooling, weapons, automotive and aerospace industries to determine their technical needs and to provide a practical solution. Most sales meetings will be with highly technical engineers and scientists, so a solid technical background is required. A BS in Engineering or other suitable technical discipline is required, along with at least 10 years experience in a Senior Sales position. Experience does not have to be in coatings. Candidates should have a broad technical background in harsh applications such as oil well drilling, slurry pumps, turbines, combustion engines, machining, extrusion, etc. Excellent communication, project management and organizational skills are critical. This company provides excellent benefits and relocation assistance to the West Palm Beach area. This position is eligible for a significant bonus. This position does not qualify for Visa sponsorship.
