Peterson Bernard's West Palm Beach law office is seeking an experienced Legal Billing / bookkeeper. This position is responsible for billing, accounts receivable, deposits, conflict checks, file opening and crossed trained in account payables. Successful candidates have 5
years' recent experience in billing and AR in the legal field. The candidate must have the ability to multi-task and set priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast paced environment.
Requirements
Experience in client billing required with knowledge of Legal Precision, Legal Solutions, Legal Exchange/Bottomline, Allegient/Bottomline or Serengeti Tracker Collaborati.
Accounts receivable experience in the legal field required to resolve collections.
Operational experience in TABS or similar legal accounting and financial management software required.
Post client payments by recording checks, EFT's and credit card transactions.
Knowledge of Lawyer Trust Accounts (IOLTA).
Proficient in Excel
Strong work ethic
Detailed Oriented
Team player
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
