You will be working alongside our lead developer and designer in an automotive group to accomplish daily tasks of development/design work. You will assist the web design team in implementation of web designs and production work. You will help modify, debug and troubleshoot web content in a CMS. Optimize web pages for high conversion. Work with Google API to process Google analytics data. Perform database manipulation. Process data files CSV, XML and JSON.
Requirements
Ability to adapt to new processes and willing to learn new coding languages and technical procedures.
3 to 5 years experience in web development.
An in-depth understanding of HTML and CSS and the capabilities of web and/or mobile browsers
Being able to debug, troubleshoot modify webpages.
Knowledge of Java Script libraries (jQuery, Prototype or other), Responsive CSS frameworks (Bootstrap or Foundation).
Basic knowledge of PHP scripting language. Understanding PHP code structure, common PHP functions and integrating PHP with HTML.
Basic knowledge of SQL and MySql database. Being able to work with phpMyAdmin interface. Create, Modify databases and tables.
High level knowledge of WordPress structure and basic knowledge of WordPress functions (codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference).
Evaluate code to ensure that it is valid, properly structured, and is compatible with browsers, devices, and various operating systems.
Identify problems through testing and customer feedback, and find solution or refer to appropriate personnel for correction.
Assists colleagues and the flow of projects via the companys project management tool.
Delivers quality work in a timely manner.
Be a team player and great problem solver.
