The role of the Resident Services Consultant is like being a sponge:
you have to soak in everything (community facts, resident concerns, new initiatives, names, etc.) and then scrub away at any community issues or resident concerns so that your community is a place your residents are proud to call home.
Responsibilities

The work is fast-paced and challenging.
You have to rock your people skills, nonstop, every day.
Practice saying How may I assist you?
Time management and organization are critical.
You have to be the community guru.
If you don't feel 100%, no one should be able to tell!
The Real Work
Walking in your residents' shoes
Smiling, all the time
Listening and showing empathy
Focusing on the needs of others
Building rewarding relationships with new people
Defusing challenging situations and working with unhappy people
Figuring out how to get others to share what they really need/want

Gatekeeping and greeting

Qualifications
Required Knowledge and Experience
Minimum of high school degree, some college or degree preferred
Prior multifamily / apartment community experience preferred
