APU Program Manager (SPEAR)

We are currently under contract to develop and deliver a new derivative of our TJ150 Turbojet Engine for a new Missile that the UK Ministry of Defense is developing for the F35. This $15M development program is a key part of our future growth strategy on the Turbojet Product Line. The team recently completed the Detailed Design Review and is proceeding to order development hardware. First production hardware is scheduled for early 2022. The PM position is fully funded as part of the scope of work for this project. It is currently being supported less than part time by an existing PM who has other key responsibilities across the product line. Given that this is a critical part of our future strategy, we need to ensure that this program has the resources required to be successful both from a technical, recurring cost and non-recurring cost perspective.
Job Description
Key job responsibilities include the following:
Program Leader and is accountable to divisional P&L Owner for achievement of total Program venture.
Has the responsibility and authority to ensure all program objectives and goals are adequately addressed.
Ensure Program plan supports execution of Program, and makes final decisions on Program issues
Ensure Program compliance with IPD process and P&W policies and procedures
Primary Interface with Customer on reporting status of achieving program requirements
Allocate and distribute Program Product requirements (resources, budget, and schedule) consistent with authorized budget and recognizing availability of resources
Manage development of Program partnership agreements, internal, external and installer contracts
Resolve conflicting program priorities
Establish customer satisfaction goals for Program and ensures they are met
Ensure all model program, technical, and logistics issues relating to quality escapes, repairs, warranty support, proposals, cost reduction initiatives, engineering changes, new engine production, service bulletin priority and fleet risk management are addressed
Establish task priorities in conjunction with IPMT to resolve disputes and establish staff requirements
Monitor Program performance relative to Plan and make necessary adjustments to ensure Program requirements are met
Primary Interface with customer on program planning, reporting of budget and schedules
Establish and manage process for Contract and Program Level 1 milestone flow down to CIPTs and Systems groups in concert with Program Chief Engineer
Define program task priorities in conjunction with IPMT to resolve disputes and establish staff requirements
Prepare and responsible for material in presentations and position papers on the effect of Program decisions for external consumption.
Develop and maintain Aftermarket business strategy
Lead Customer what-if studies for requirements and budget development
Qualifications
Basic
Qualifications:
B.S. in Management, Engineering, or related field required.
At least 8 years of engineering, program management, or related relevant experience (engineering experience strongly desired).
Preferred
Qualifications:
MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams.
Focus on results and ability to successfully manage multiple tasks.
Strong organization and communication skills.
Education
B.S. in Management, Engineering, or related field required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
