Construction Control Representative

Experience:
One year of specialized experience which includes reading and understanding plans and specifications; inspecting materials and workmanship to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with contractual requirements; reviewing contractor-submitted documents for accuracy and adequacy; inspecting construction to assess quality control of Contractors; providing input to project engineers toward solutions or courses of action required based upon thorough knowledge of contract specifications, common trade practices, and observations made at project sites; furnishing field information for construction progress and feeder information for other reports; experience with earthwork and concrete work such as:
planning, scheduling and timing of long-range and day-to-day construction and phases thereof, such as preparation of site and foundations; erection of concrete forms; mixing, placing and curing of reinforced concrete; and installation of mechanical and electrical equipment. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in in the federal service (GS-10). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-10). Note:
To support the Time in Grade (TIG) requirement you must submit a copy of your latest non-award SF-50/NPA that reflects your highest grade held on a permanent basis along with your application/resume package. Failure to do so may affect your rating or consideration for employment.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
