The iPod Classic has a bad hard drive with 16 pending sectors and 112 reallocations or a bad motherboard. The device s functions do work but not the hard drive or motherboard properly. At a certain point when trying to add music/data it will freeze or stop. As well restoring itself mid-use will occur and some songs will not go fully downloaded. This is due to pending sectors in the hard drive or a faulty motherboard that make it not able to be used properly so it will also sometimes when you try to play the song, it will immediately skip to the next one.
