4.
While in service, the carburetor, distributor and wheels were updated; after its retirement, the pump was removed, and a simple touring-style body was installed.
In 2018, it underwent a restoration and was reimagined as a fire chief's car.
It is powered by a T-head 6-cylinder engine rated at 105hp, with the final drive provided by a pair of 1-inch chains to the rear wheels.
The chain drive American LaFrance chassis traces its origin to the early days of motoring and was offered until 1927.
The gearing remains stock, and the factory rating shows a top speed of 55 mph.
During the restoration, some of the updates included the addition of an alternator, fuel pump, exhaust cutout, and front and rear turn signals.
The windshield, top bows, chemical tank and some small parts were repurposed, with the rest of the service body custom-fabricated; however, it still maintains its original 156-inch wheelbase and has an overall length of 20 feet.
Additional features include a fabricated instrument cluster, searchlight, water tank with wash hose, fire extinguishers, ladder and hand tools.
